Funding for Management Related Training
Lancashire Chamber of Commerce

The North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce has announced that businesses in Lancashire have access to funding for training in management development related subjects.

- up to 7 leaders/key managers in organisations employing between 5 and 249 people and a maximum of £7000

- up to 6 leaders/key managers in organisations employing between 250 - 999 employees and a maximum of £6000

The first grant of £500 (of the full £1,000 of grant support available per individual) is fully funded and must benefit the leader/key manager. The remaining grant of £500 must be match funded by the employer. No individual manager can receive more than £1,000 of grant support. The funding is only available for management development activity and does not cover technical, mandatory or IT training.

For multiple managers within a company the first full grant available (£1000 - the first £500 and the second matched £500) must be completely used before further grants are made available within the company. If the MD/ key manager has received similar funding in the past they will not be eligible but other managers within the company will be. For more information on what is available for businesses looking for management development training please contact Nichola Bamber on 01772 653 000 or email nicholab@lancschamber.co.uk
