ILM Level 2 – Certificate in Preparing for Business Enterprise - Course Number 877

Whats Involved

Aimed at giving you the ability to assess your own suitability for starting and running an enterprise and to assist in your decision making. The qualifications also explore the implications of starting up and running a business.

The Certificate builds and broadens on the understanding gained in the Award (please note candidates may join the Certificate directly and are not required to undertake the Award as a prerequisite.)

This qualification consists of five mandatory units as shown below:
*Assessing own suitability for enterprise
*Exploring the legal and regulatory requirements for starting and running an enterprise
*Exploring how to market and sell a product or service
*Exploring the financial needs of a business
*Exploring how to start and run a business

It will take at least 40 guided learning hours (Glh) to complete. There are 14 credits associated with this qualification. Assessment is by the successful completion of a reflective log and a simple business case/ plan.
